Ah, a "what the fuck is going on here" type of film, Zardoz is a wild sci-fi story about how inevitable it probably was that Sean Connery lost a bet before he took on this role. Aside from the funny wardrobe choices, it also comes with a series of iconic quotes, including "The gun is good, the penis is evil." But in the big picture, a sci-fi about an elite directing the masses to kill each other, always a valued subgenre.
