In the Netherlands, a regime of continuous availability prevails: all year round, you can find avocados in the supermarket and watch all your films and series on a combination of 5 to 10 different streaming services. This has led to increased pressure on the climate and the demise of video rental stores and small cinemas. This is a cross-pollination of market forces that actually make our world less sustainable and no longer support simple shared experiences.

 

We want to be a counterweight to these developments in society, where the simple pleasure of dinner and a movie with your buddies, family, or new love can be an active experience that doesn't need to be approached in a particularly complex way.
